Write 2 to 3 paragraphs on volcanoes. What is important to know about volcanoes? Can we predict where they may grow? How? Write where we find them on our planet. Include new things you have learned. Give your opinion on them and why you feel the way you do.
Turn in for an extra credit grade in Language Arts and Science.

How explorers changed the lives of California Indians. Plan to draw a picture of an explorer ship and chart the voyages of different explorers!
SCIENCE
We are looking at the Birth of Rocks this week. We will study the rock cycle, erosion, and natural hazards on earth. We will be charting volcanoes throughout the globe.
JOURNAL AND READING LOG
